Purdue beats Central Michigan 45-22

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Curtis Painter passed for 360 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Purdue beat Central Michigan 45-22 on Saturday.
Painter completed 29 of 39 passes. He has 13 touchdown passes and no interceptions this season.
Purdue gained 586 yards, including 402 in the first half. The Boilermakers' point total came despite committing 5 turnovers, including 4 fumbles.
Kory Sheets ran for a career-high 144 yards and 2 touchdowns for Purdue (3-0).
Dan LeFevour passed for 364 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Bryan Anderson had 10 catches for 101 yards for Central Michigan (1-2).
