At 90% sold, Steeplechase at close-out

It's down to a photo finish at Steeplechase, Town and Country Homes' active-adult clubhouse neighborhood in Southwest suburban Oswego. Now at the 90-percent sold mark, this community has a limited number of homes remaining.

Steeplechase is located within Town and Country's Churchill Club master plan community. For active adults, Steeplechase highlights a private clubhouse with a low-impact fitness center and outdoor pool.

Currently, there are a limited number of ranch duplex homes and fewer than 15 single-family ranch homes remaining for sale at the community. Steeplechase's ranch duplex homes are priced from the $180,000s and the ranch style single-family homes are priced from the $230,000s. Both are in a private enclave at Churchill Club. Decorated and furnished models are open for tours everyday.

"Active adults have embraced Steeplechase for many reasons, one big reason being that they want to live in a smaller, more intimate neighborhood. We designed Steeplechase to be an enclave inside the Churchill Club community, which gives Steeplechase residents their own clubhouse plus walking trails and parks adjacent to the neighborhood," says Ray Blankenship, vice president of operations for Town and Country Homes.

Steeplechase is an age-restricted community designed for active adults 55 and older. This enclave shares some amenities with Churchill Club, such as neighborhood parks, natural wetland areas and dedicated open space. A trail along with the park district athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts are available for use by Steeplechase residents.

The ranch style duplex homes at Steeplechase are offered in three floor plans, ranging in size from 1,313 to 1,536 square feet, with two bedrooms, two full baths, a great room and attached two-car garage. The duplex homes are priced from the $180,000s.

The single-family ranch models are available in five floor plans, sized from 1,766 to 2,183 square feet, with two bedrooms, two full baths, den (in some plans), great room and a two-car garage. Basements are a popular option. The single-family ranch homes start in the $230,000s.

Town and Country has several quick delivery homes available for delivery in 90-days or less. Both single-family and duplex styles are available, with pricing from the $190,000s.

To further enhance the experience of living at Steeplechase, a clubhouse manager organizes events and activities for the residents, year round.
