Batavia
• Humberto Benitez, 20, 340 Timber Oaks Drive, North Aurora; and Justin T. Mabry, 19, 1208 McClurg Drive, Batavia, were both charged with unlawful possession of cannabis after an incident on the 100 block of North Randall Road at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.
North Aurora
• Jodi R. Johnson, 37, of 337 Hilltop Drive, was charged with assault after an incident on North River Road at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.
St. Charles
• Bailey S. Credille, 20, of 1605 Larson Ave., was arrested at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 7 and charged with underage drinking and improper lane usage on the 1000 block of North Second Street, police said. Credille is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 4.
• Someone stole $100 from a purse that was inside a vehicle being cleaned Sept. 6 at Valley Springs Auto Spa, 3255 W. Main St.
• A vehicle at St. Charles East High School, 1020 Dunham Road, was burglarized twice between Aug. 24 and 30. In the first incident, on or about Aug. 24, a black iPod valued at $200 was stolen. On Aug. 30, $7 was stolen.
• A fraudulent credit card purchase totaling $2,000 was reported Tuesday on the 1200 block of South Third Street.
• A blue and white BMX bicycle valued at $150 was stolen Sept. 6 or 7 from outside Davis Elementary School, 1125 S. Seventh St.
• An estimated $1,115 in items, including a Garmin 2660 global positioning system and a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, were stolen Monday or Tuesday from a truck on the 3700 block of Chesapeake Road.
• A Pioneer stereo valued at $199 was stolen Tuesday from a vehicle on the 900 block of South Randall Road.
• More than $20,000 in fraudulent credit card purchases were reported Thursday at The Deck Yard, 2425 W. Main St.
• A six-pack of Bud Light valued at $5 was stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a garage on the 800 block of Stuarts Drive.
Kane County
• Jacob Schambach, 25, of 38W443 Woodhill Lane, St. Charles Township, was taken into police custody at 2 p.m. Tuesday after police responded to a call at his home and discovered he was wanted on two warrants, according to a police report.
• A resident of the 11N200 block of Peplow Road returned home at 1 a.m. Tuesday to find his house had been burglarized. Food and liquor were missing and his riding lawnmower was damaged. The man told police he left his doors unlocked.
Geneva
• A 2007 Pontiac G6 was scratched while parked at Johnson Controls, 300 S. Glengary Drive, at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday. Damage is estimated at $750.
• An employee of Gymboree, 112 Commons Drive, reported her credit cards and driver's license stolen from the store's employee break room at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday.
• A stereo, iPod, backpack and two textbooks were reported stolen from a 1985 Cadillac Cimarron parked on the 1500 block of south Randall Road at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday. There were no signs of forced entry.
