Bullet holes in Jackson's words
One recent day marked another day of Jesse Jackson and his group marching and protesting against a legitimate plant doing nothing wrong, but he wants it closed anyway. He said stopping gun manufacturers would stop the violence. I don't think so. If we close the plant, how do legitimate law-abiding gun owners get guns to protect themselves against the bad guys? It was stated there is no evidence of wrongdoing by the plant, so what's the problem?
I guess we have to close all car-manufacturing plants to stop the drunken drivers too! The heck with the people who have to get to work legitimately; we need to stop the drunken drivers!
Jackson also blamed the illegal gun trade for shootings like Virginia Tech. Excuse me, just so people know the truth--Virginia tech was a legal purchase by someone who shouldn't have been able to get that gun and now thanks to Congress, with the support of the NRA, a bill has been passed to stop future sales as these.
He also said that in Chicago we don't manufacture "death." I think it's the opposite. Chicago does, by not allowing their residents to own handguns to fight back, so as a result the law abiding are getting murdered like tin cans on a shelf because they are not allowed to be armed and resist.
Barrington Hills President Robert Abboud said if neighboring towns don't help towns with gun control, then those towns are susceptible to the same problems. If what he is saying is true, the suburbs should be a terrible place to live because everyone out here is armed and their presidents and trustees believe in that right. As a result, out here where the plant is and the gun shops are, we are way lower in crime than the poor tin cans on the shelf in the big city. If you don't read the newspapers you are uninformed. If you do read them believe me you are misinformed!
