Geneva
• Eight people left without paying their bill of $110.42 at 8:55 p.m. Sunday at Buffalo Wild Wings, 820 Commons Drive. The waiter said the group of four men and four women left in a gray van. He gave police its license plate number, but it turned out the plate had been stolen.
• Two dollars in change was taken from an unlocked Land Rover Discovery parked in a driveway between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday on the 1500 block of Fargo Boulevard.
North Aurora
• Dimitrius D. Haywood, 28, 10025 Yates Ave., Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a motor vehicle, possession of between 30 and 500 grams of cannabis and intent to deliver between 30 and 500 grams of cannabis after a traffic stop at North Lincolnway and Oak Street at 8:53 p.m. Sunday. Police said Haywood had 442.5 grams of cannabis in his possession.
• Gilberto R. Franco, 18, 709 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, was charged with retail theft Monday at Target, 1800 Orchard Gateway Boulevard.
St. Charles
• David Zuno, 19, of 1620 S. 13th Ave., was arrested at 5:22 p.m. Sunday on eight traffic-related charges after riding a motorbike across the baseball fields at Munhall Elementary School, 1400 S. 13th Ave., police said. Zuno is charged with driving without a headlamp, driving without taillights, improper operation of an off-highway motorcycle, no valid registration, operation of an uninsured vehicle, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving while license suspended, and unlawful use of a license. He was released on $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 18.
• A window screen was cut, and a basement ransacked between noon and 7 p.m. Saturday on the 800 block of South Fourth Street during an apparent burglary attempt. Nothing was reported stolen, but police recovered a flashlight as evidence.
• Matthew S. Sullivan, 19, of 38W130 Creekside Drive, was arrested at 9:40 p.m. Sunday and charged with underage drinking and retail theft after stealing two packs of cigarettes from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road, police said. Sullivan was released on his own recognizance and is set to appear in court Oct. 4.
Kane County
• A woman reported a hit-and-run at the intersection of Red Gate and Randall roads in St. Charles Township at 11:32 a.m. Friday. She told police she was stopped at the traffic light on Red Gate when the landscaping trailer in front of her backed up unexpectedly, breaking her license plate holder.
• An iPod, iPod charger and cell phone charger were reported stolen from a 2003 Dodge Ram parked at Prairie View Elementary School, 10N630 Nesler Road, Plato Township, at 3:45 p.m. Friday. There were no signs of forced entry.
• A concession stand/storage building at Lily Lake Elementary School, 5S720 Route 47, was broken into, it was reported at 4:18 p.m. Monday. The doors were kicked open, but nothing was missing. The building is used by the Central School District 301 girls softball team.
