Latino Art celebrate heritage month

The Hispanic Heritage Coalition, in collaboration with Organizacion Civica Cultural Mexicana, ELPAT, LULAC, Puerto Rican Heritage Organization and Somos Colombia, invites the community to its Latino Art Showcase on Thursday.

The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division St., eighth floor in downtown Elgin. The admission fee is $10 which includes appetizers and drink.

This event is part of the Hispanic Heritage Month festivities. Local Latino artists have been invited to participate and showcase their artwork including painting, craft, photography, drawing, singing and dancing. For information, call (847) 695-2196.
