Jim Paxson's wife dies from cancer

Candice Brusse-Paxson, wife of Bulls consultant Jim Paxson, died of complications from cancer early Friday morning in Portland, Ore, according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

She was diagnosed with central nervous system lymphoma more than four years ago. Jim Paxson is the older brother of Bulls general manager John Paxson and former GM of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

She is survived by her husband, sons Brett and Aaron, and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sept. 21 in Portland.
