Stormin' to first win

Put a check next to South Elgin's name in the win column.

The Storm posted the first victory in the two-year history of the fledgling varsity football program with a convincing 42-2 win over East Aurora at Millennium Field Saturday.

Senior quarterback Pete Scaffidi threw for 201 yards and 5 touchdowns and senior running back Josh Kabala ran for 139 yards and another score.

"This feels great to get this first one under our belts," Scaffidi said. "We'll get confidence, finally, and build off it for next week."
