Charity dog wash to aid Animal House Shelter

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, join the Doghouse of Barrington, 340 S. Lageschulte St., for its first charity dog wash, benefiting Animal House Shelter.

The Doghouse will team up with Cody and Carl's Blvd., A Closer Bond, and Isles of Dog for a day of service to area dogs. Animal House Shelter will also host an adoption day at the event.

Through Sept. 30, new guests can receive one free day of care at The Doghouse of Barrington. Featured will be treats and surprises, as well as a raffle including items from The Doghouse, Cody and Carl's Blvd., and A Closer Bond.
