Briefs: Klein Tools affiliate acquires company

LINCOLNSHIRE -- Klein Tools, a leading manufacturer of hand tools and occupational protective equipment for the professional tradesman, announced Friday its affiliate, Klein Cutlery, has acquired the manufacturing assets of Heritage Cutlery, based in Bolivar, N.Y., from Rogers, Lunt, and Bowlen Company. The asset acquisition, which includes the company name, facility, and such brand names as Heritage and C-Mon, was completed Aug. 31. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. This year marks Lincolnshire-based Klein Tools' 150th anniversary.

Bandy & Associates wins managing job

ELMHURST -- The American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children recently named Bandy & Associates, based in Elmhurst, as its association management company. B&A was selected because of the firm's focus on providing senior-level experienced management for a select group of clients, as well as its commitment to helping the association develop and enhance its services, according to B&A. The firm is managed by Michael Bandy and Dee Dee Bandy.
