Briefs: Synegrate receives military contract
CARPENTERSVILLE -- Fox River Graphics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Synegrate Corp., announced an additional $100,000 contract with the Illinois Army National Guard to install audio visual and tele-video conferencing systems in its new armory to be built in Galesburg. The new armory will serve as a model for future National Guard Armories across the country. Classrooms will feature the latest in projection and video technology from manufacturers such as NEC, Polycom, Viewsonic and JBL.
Faster Internet project complete
HEBRON -- Wonderwave Internet announced testing of its new Internet access point on the Hebron water tower is complete. This brings the total number of the company's towers to eight. Wonderwave's wireless broadband equipment supports Internet speeds of up to six megabits per second, or 120 times dialup, to businesses and residences within 10 miles of the water tower.
