Uniqueness of Victoria Park touted

Designed to be different than the large active-adult communities, Victoria Park in North suburban Libertyville features 52 maintenance-free townhouses in an enclave with a clubhouse and a lifestyle that appeals to those 55 and older.

There are three floor plans available at Victoria Park, each with the look and feel of a single-family home, with features buyers have become accustomed to.

One of the two-story homes is the Ansel Cook, a 2,172-square-foot layout with two bedrooms, a den, 2½ baths, full basement and two-car garage.

The other two-story model is the Vardins Grove, a 2,155-square-foot home with a first-floor master suite, second bedroom upstairs, 2½ baths, a second-floor den, loft with storage room, full basement and two-car garage.

The ranch plan is the Liberty, measuring 1,768 square feet with two bedrooms, two full baths, a flexible den or sunroom, full basement and two-car garage. The homes start at $349,990.

Homes at Victoria Park features a master suite with walk-in closet and private bath, 9-foot first-floor ceilings, a full basement, central air conditioning and two-car attached garage. Interior amenities include bathrooms with ceramic tile, theatrical lighting and furniture-finished vanities, white doors and trim, stained oak railings with painted base plus hardwood or ceramic tile in the kitchen, foyer and powder room.

Each kitchen at Victoria Park is equipped with features such as 42-inch cabinets, double-bowl sink, built-in microwave and oven with separate cooktop, range hood vented to the outside, along with center islands or peninsulas.

Practical touches include laundry centers, a 50-gallon hot water heater and automatic garage door openers.

At Victoria Park the professionally designed landscape blends with the mature tree to give the community an established look.
