• Jeremy L. Poe, 27, whose last known address was 638 Madison St., was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass to state-supported property at 27 N. River St. at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to a police report.
Geneva
• A man is accused of defrauding a former employer of $47,950. Timothy J. Kreft, 20, of 1241 Shoop Circle, is accused of taking blank payroll checks from the office of an auto repair business in the 800 block of Commons Drive between March 9 and May 28. Police say he then wrote 17 checks to himself and deposited them in his bank account. Kreft faces three counts of forgery and one count of theft. Bond was set at $60,000, and he has a court date today at the Kane County Judicial Center.
St. Charles
• About $5 in coins were stolen Tuesday from a house on the 1200 block of South 11th Street.
• An I-Pass transponder valued at $50 was stolen Aug. 1 from a vehicle on the 1500 block of East Main Street.
• An antique milk can valued at $100 was stolen July 25 from a house on the 3000 block of Pleasant Plains Drive.
