•Jenaro Arenas-Matias, 39, 222 Evolution Ave., Highwood, was arrested around 7:45 p.m. Aug. 21 and charged with local ordinance sale of alcohol to a minor after two underage undercover agents for the police department ordered beers from Arenas-Matias at Edwardo's Pizza, 401 E. Dundee Road, police said. According to reports, they were part of a liquor compliance check, and an officer watched Arenas-Matias look at their IDs and still give them the beers. His Rolling Meadows court date was set for Sept. 21.

•Lindsay A. Moore, 22, 4 Edgebrook, Algonquin, was arrested around 7:10 p.m. Aug. 21 and charged with local ordinance sale of alcohol to a minor after two underage undercover agents for the police department ordered beers from Moore at 94th Aero Squadron, 1070 S. Milwaukee Ave., and Moore served them the beers without checking their IDs, police said. An officer and the two agents were conducting a liquor compliance check, reports added. Moore's Rolling Meadows court date was set for Sept. 21.

•Thieves cut the pipes and stole two catalytic converters between 7 p.m. Aug. 21 and 7 a.m. Aug. 22 from a 2004 Chevrolet van and a 2000 Chevrolet box truck belonging to Accurate Industries, 441 Carpenter Ave., police said. Total value was estimated at $700.
