Naperville Community Gardeners has announced the winners from its annual Flower and Garden Show.

The event, on Aug. 25, invited club members and others to submit the best examples their garden had to offer in various categories for flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs.

Here's a look at the winners:

Best of Show, Best Flower (perennial): Nick Papadolias for a delphinium

Best Vegetable (vine type): Wanda Wohead for Howden's Field Pumpkin

Sweepstakes Award (most points for winning entries): Wanda Wohead

Best Annual Flower: Wanda Wohead for Uproar Rose Zinnia

Best Tuberous Begonia: Wanda Wohead for Non-Stop Begonia

Best Summer Bulb: Tom Campbell for Ollie's Red Canna

Best Rose: Chuck Baumgartner for Royal Bonica

Best Dahlia: Brian Bell for Bodacious

Best Potted Plant: Chuck Baumgartner for Angel Wing Begonia

Best Outdoor Container: Oliver Burrows

Best Bush Vegetable: Wanda Wohead for Red Ace Cabbage

Best Root Vegetable: Rod Beary for Romanian Red Garlic

Best Tomato: Wanda Wohead for Parks' Whopper

Best Herb: Eleanor Holt for Variegated Oregano

Best Fruit: Carolyn Finzer for Japanese Quince

Best Artistic Arrangement: Sally Niedlinger

Best of Class Youth Category: Jon Pettinger for Basil
