Delays in Ryan case are embarrassing

George Ryan can't get his affairs in order in 72 hours? He's had 16 months! How many other convicted felons can boast that amount of interminable delay?

Oh, and I didn't know one could request their place of incarceration for the convenience of the family.

I voted for both Ryan and Thompson. Sure wish I could replay those moves or at the very least come up with a few "hanging chads." What an embarrassment to Illinois and the justice system.
