Briefs: Inland Real Estate sells 10 acres

OAK BROOK -- The Yorkville office of Inland Real Estate Sales Inc. said it brokered the sale of almost 10 acres of land in Sandwich, Ill., for $4 million. It will be used to build Waves of Fun, a 60,000-square-foot indoor water park, part of Sandwich Commons, a large retail, convention and hotel center. The five-story Waves of Fun Inc. resort complex could accommodate 1,500 patrons and will house attractions, including a 50-foot water slide.

Hendrick acquires Hagen Metal

ELGIN -- Hendrick Manufacturing, a maker of perforated metal products, acquired the operations and assets of Hagen Metal Products Co. in Elgin. Hagen is a precision sheet metal fabricator that supplies cabinetry for the telecommunications, medical and computer industries. Hagen will continue to operate in its current location under its existing name as a related company under the Hendrick Midwest LLC banner.
