Aurora man charged with cyber stalking

An Aurora man was charged with one count of cyber stalking after police said he sent threatening e-mails to a former Playboy Playmate, police said.

Edson F. Diaz, 20, of the 1000 block of North Avenue was arrested on the 100 block of Farnsworth Avenue Monday for sending threatening e-mails to the Arizona woman after a three-month investigation, Aurora police said Tuesday.

The former Playmate alerted Playboy Enterprises Corporate Security who contacted Aurora police, police said. Computer equipment was recovered from his home and the place of his arrest, police said.

Diaz is being held on $20,000 bond. His next court date is Sept. 13 at the Kane County Judicial Center, police said.
