Church offers groups for study, fellowship

Are you looking for meaningful adult fellowship and Bible study?

You're invited to Barrington United Methodist Church, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Sundays, for an exciting adventure via DVD of "Walk as Jesus Walked: Making Disciples."

Go to archaeological sites where geography and history connect with the Bible with powerful relevance for today.

Join a meaningful, 10-week Interpretation Series Bible study that explores the book of Genesis. Or, you can revitalize and explore relationship tools, studying "Five Languages of Apology How to Experience Healing in All Your Relationships," written by Gary Chapman on weekdays.

The church is offering the following programs:

•Invitation to Genesis: Have you always wanted to learn more about the Bible? Why not begin at the beginning? Disciple Bible Study has created a 10-week, video-based study on the book of Genesis. This in-depth study of the biblical text includes weekly preparation, small group discussion, and spiritual growth for more faithful discipleship. The class will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 26.

•Women of the Word (W.O.W.) will study the dynamic series "A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place," by Beth Moore, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays.

•Join the Women's Evening Study for a challenging study, "Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God," from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 20.

•Take time out to reflect and enjoy fellowship with the Breathing Spaces fellowship group, meeting from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Fridays, Sept. 20-Oct. 28, at the Starbucks inside Dominick's on Rand Road in Lake Zurich. All are welcome.
