Brief: Dist. 102 to talk teachers
Aptakisic-Tripp Elementary District 102 will be talking about reducing the number of junior high teachers for the next school year, Superintendent Jon Mink said at a board meeting Monday. The board went over some preliminary enrollment numbers, which showed a trend of decreasing enrollment in the district. Mink said the district isn't surprised by the decrease, which it had been projecting, but it means that officials will have to take a look at the number of junior high teachers later in the year.
