Every step you take during workday makes a difference
The little steps you build into your workday can add up -- to a whopping 6 miles, according to the American Council on Exercise, which studied workers in 10 professions as they wore pedometers.
Mail carriers led the pack, taking 18,904 steps a day (that's 7.5 miles!), while secretaries came in last with a little more than 4,000, or 1.7 miles.
