•Irving Robles, 18, of 1003 Lorlyn Circle, Apt. 1E, was charged with aggravated DUI, DUI, no insurance, improper lane usage and no valid driver's license after a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Lorlyn Circle at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.

Geneva

•Someone scratched both sides of a tan Hummer H2 truck while it was parked in a shopping center lot on the 700 block of Commons Drive between 10:30 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. Wednesday. Damage is estimated at $4,000.

•A $350 Garming C340 portable navigation system was stolen from an unlocked silver Honda Ridgeline truck parked on a driveway on the 200 block of Country Club Place between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Kane County

•A Bartlett man was taken to Provena St. Joseph Hospital after his motorcycle crashed on Nesler Road near Bowes Road in Plato Township at 8:01 p.m. Wednesday. John Peneschi, 40, 521 Horizon Drive, lost control of the motorcycle and went off the road, witnesses told police. He was cited for DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to a police report.

St. Charles

•Daniel G. Molnar, 25, of 314 S. Sixth Ave., was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest on the 500 block of Division Street, police said. Molnar was released on $1,000 bond with a Sept. 13 court date.

•A black leather briefcase valued at $300 and a $100 prepaid Metra ticket were stolen Monday or Tuesday from a car on the 0-100 block of Highgate Course.

•Someone scratched a truck Tuesday, causing $100 in damage, on the 100 block of Millington Way.

•An apartment at 1103 S. Third St. was burglarized of $300 on Tuesday.
