Try tradition with a twist at Lake Vista
Each of the 29 classically designed single-family homes of Lake Vista will back to a wooded area in Lake Villa. The community, located on a single cul-de-sac, will be built by Grande Pointe Homes.
Lake Vista offers tradition with a twist. It's a community of three- to five-bedroom homes with formal living rooms, formal dining rooms, studies, two-story family rooms, enhanced kitchens and square footage from 2,100 to 3,552 feet. Pre-construction prices will be $410,900 to $483,900.
"Our large living areas are designed to provide growing families with the space they'll need," says Scott Ballard, vice president of sales and marketing for the Elgin-based builder. He says that space comes with the attention to detail and craftsmanship for which Grand Pointe is known.
Details that shape the community's six models (including a traditional ranch) ad art niches, a bridge that connects a two-story foyer and family room, columns separating a dining room and living room, a master suite with octagonal sitting room, an octagonal breakfast area, a turret-style dinette; private shower and toilet areas, studies and master suites with double-door entries and arched doorways.
Grand Pointe offers upgrades such as bay windows, skylights, built-in entertainment centers, lofts, extra bedrooms, cathedral ceilings in master bedrooms, three-car garages, and platform tubs in master baths.
Exteriors can feature covered entries, front porches, shutters and coordinating trim, archways, coach lights and decorative windows including transoms, half-rounds and palladians. Each floor plan comes in several exterior variations, plus a variety of colors and materials including brick and siding.
Homes also include basements, central air conditioning, and 90-percent efficient furnaces as standard features, says Ballard.
