Round Lake, Grayslake girls to vie in pageant

Angela Reynolds of Round Lake and Nella Sanders of Grayslake were recently selected to participate in Nationals' 2007 Miss Pre-Teen Chicago Pageant on Sunday.

Both girls submitted an application and took part in interview sessions that were conducted by Patty Niedert, this year's Chicago pageant coordinator.

Reynolds and Sanders will compete for a share of more than $20,000 in prizes and gifts. The Miss Pre-Teen division is one of three divisions that will have young women between the ages of 10 and 19 competing in modeling routines that include casual and formal wear, as well as displaying their personalities while interviewing with a judging panel.

The winner of the title of Miss Pre-Teen Chicago will represent Chicago and the surrounding communities at the Cities Of America National Competition in Orlando, Fla.
