Larkin Center to host wine auction

The Larkin Center in Elgin recently announced an additional flavor to its wine auction event this year.

The "Art and Soul Experience" will combine fine art from professional artists; wine tasting by various vendors, including Geno's Fine Wine and Spirits of Elgin; appetizers; and music.

This fundraiser will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 12 at the new Elgin Art Showcase venue on the eighth floor of the Professional Building, 164 Division St., Elgin.

Tickets are $40 per person. The center accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash or check made payable to the Larkin Center.
