Dems flip-flopping on war on terror

The Democratic Party contenders are constantly changing their positions on the war on terror.

Sen. Hillary Clinton voted for the Iraq War, then argued that a set date for withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq would be a mistake, and now says she wants to end the war "today."

Sen. Barack Obama, who says he was against the Iraq War from the start and wants to have tea at the White House and with all the enemy leaders who want to destroy us, now has turned into a hawk who wants to bomb and even invade Pakistan.

Sen. John Edwards, who voted for the Iraq War, now says he is not aware of the war on terror and thinks it is a bumper sticker.

We can all be thankful for President Bush, who is not governed by opinion polls and knows how to fight the war on terror.
