Residents oppose off-track betting

Off-track betting in Mundelein? I hope the trustees who agree with this aren't fooling themselves that people in Mundelein are "pro off track betting." The people I've spoken to are shocked that the trustees and our village would allow this. Why not send out a questionnaire and ask people to approve or disapprove this project? I believe that if voters are asked that they will not want gambling in our community.

Why don't you put this to a test, trustees? Give the Mundelein people a chance to voice their opinion on something that can change their property values and the reputation of their city.

I urge the residents of Mundelein to voice their opinion to the village and oppose this project. It is another poorly thought out, and potentially harmful plan for our village.
