Emergency file could save your life

Huntley Banking Center, a branch of First National Bank of Marengo, has announced their participation inthe File of Life in Huntley.

The program entails filling out an information card, one for each individual of the household.

The cardcontains spaces for emergency contacts, medical data, medical conditions, allergies, medical insurance and most important, medication-dosage-frequency.

The completed cards are then enclosed in a magnetized envelope which is affixed to the resident's refrigerator.

This information will inform the Emergency Medical Technicians of the resident's current condition in the event he or she is unable to respond, and assist with emergency medical treatment.

The File of Life Program was started by the Huntley Fire Department and is also supported by the Huntley Fire Protection District, Del Webb Neighborhood Watch and the Sun City Lions Club.

The Lions Club of Sun Cityhasmade it a priority to inform all Del Webb residents of this program by visiting with neighborhood representatives and participating in neighborhood meetings.

Huntley Banking Center is now an additional source of information cards and magnetized envelopes for use with the File of Life Program for all HuntleyBanking Center customersand Huntley residents.

These forms can be picked up at the Huntley Banking Center during regular banking hours; see Lynn Grosse, Prestige Club Coordinator.
