Fewer than 10 maintenance-free townhouses are available at Savannah in Hanover Park.

Built by Cambridge Homes, Savannah features 166 Artisan series townhouses. The community is located off Route 20 (Lake Street) less than a mile from the Elgin O'Hare Expressway.

The community is north of Mallard Lake Forest Preserve, which features a lake and bike paths. Savannah includes a jogging path that loops around a centerpiece lake.

The Artisan series homes featured at Savannah include a raised ranch plan with finished lower level and main-level master suite and two tri-level designs. The homes range from 2,173 to 2,529 square feet of living space with two or three bedrooms, two full and two half baths or 2½ or three baths and attached two-car garages. The final selection features quick delivery homes including some for immediate delivery, all include a number of upgraded features. Prices range currently from $304,310 to $364,650.

Homes at Savannah are built in groups of three to six. Each building features architectural detailing like dormers and partial brick siding. Homes are in compliance with the new Energy Star Homes program.

Additionally, homes feature maintenance-free living with exterior maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, snow removal and hazard insurance provided for a monthly fee.

To visit the Savannah sales and model center, take I-290/I-355 to the Thorndale exit which veers onto the Elgin O'Hare Expressway. Follow the Elgin O'Hare Expressway west to Lake Street (Route 20), then east about a half mile to Cloverdale Road, Turn right (south) to the community entrance on Violet Drive.
