Preschool accepting fall applications

Grandwood Park Preschool is accepting applications for fall 2007 classes.

The school offers two programs: Mickey Mouse class is for children who will be 4 on or before Sept. 1 and will be in session from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; Donald Duck class is for children who will be 3 on or before Sept. 1, 2007, and is in session from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Both programs offer a social and academic curriculum. The "Mad Scientists" visit each class every other month, and the Warren-Newport Library bookmobile and the school's music teacher visit each class every month.

The school takes two field trips each year: to a pumpkin farm in the fall and to visit Kohl Children's Museum in Wilmette in spring of 2008.
