Potential Illini recruit chooses Washington

St. Louis shooting guard Scott Suggs, one of Illinois' top recruiting targets in the Class of 2008, announced Wednesday that he'll attend the University of Washington next fall.

Suggs, deemed the nation's No. 73 prospect by the Recruiting Services Consensus Index, picked the Huskies over Illinois and Missouri. Suggs averaged 19 points per game each of the last two years for Washington High School.
