Free, reduced price lunches: Leyden High School District 212 is offering free and reduced-price lunch to those students unable to pay full price for meals and snacks under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs. Qualification is based on the family's household income and whether it falls within the federal income chart limits and guidelines.
Application forms are being sent to all homes with a letter to parents or guardians concerning this policy. To apply for the free or reduced-price meal services, households must complete the application form, sign it and return it to school as soon as possible. Additional copies of the application form are available in the principal's office at each school.
