Kiwanis Club to do barbecue on Saturday

The Kiwanis Club of Elgin will host its 48th annual barbecue featuring Fay's Famous pork chop and chicken dinner Saturday.

The event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, Highland Avenue and Randall Road in Elgin.

Dinners, including a pork chop and quarter chicken with apple sauce, baked beans, cole slaw and iced tea or lemonade, are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
