Geneva

•A $270 men's 12-speed bike was stolen between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 10 p.m. Thursday from an open garage in the 2800 block of Caldwell Lane, reports said.

 ¢Two mailboxes in the 1900 block of Allen Drive were struck with a blunt object between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday, causing $40 total damage, reports said.

North Aurora

•Glenn R. Wilson, 17, of 471 Sherwood Drive, Aurora, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 200 block of Laurel Lane at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.

St. Charles

•Colleen M. Chuzie, 50, of 3 Garden Hill, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday and charged with battery after an altercation at her residence, according to a police report.

•A black Huffy bicycle valued at $100 was stolen Wednesday from the 100 block of Walnut Drive.

•A Dell laptop and case valued at $1,500 were stolen Monday or Tuesday from an unlocked car on the 300 block of Red Sky Drive.

•Jose Sanchez, 23, of 3N452 Francis Road, Maple Park, was arrested at 10:15 a.m. Monday and charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without a valid license after a crash on the 2400 block of West Main Street, police said. Sanchez was released on $1,000 bond with a Sept. 6 court date.

•Jesus A. Adame, 23, of 6N209 Catalpa Ave., was arrested at 1:24 a.m. Monday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance after a crash at Randall Road and Prairie Street, police said. Adame was released on $2,000 bond with an Aug. 23 court date.

•An estimated $140 in jewelry, including four sterling silver rings, was stolen July 24 or 25 from a car on the 1700 block of Cumberland Green Drive.

•A screen door valued at $100 was vandalized Sunday or Monday on the 200 block of Cedar Avenue.

Kane County

•An iPod, cell phone and purse were reported stolen from an unlocked Chevrolet Suburban parked in a driveway on the 6N000 block of Ferson Woods Drive in St. Charles Township at 1:47 a.m. Wednesday. Loss is estimated at $1,000.

•Fifty four-foot concrete forms, used for a building foundation, were reported stolen from a construction site at Brighton Drive and Brighton Circle in Rutland Township at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. Loss is estimated at $7,300.

•A mailbox on the 4N300 block of Margaret Mitchell Street, Campton Hills, was reported damaged at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Loss is estimated at $300.

•A San Jose Giants world championship ring was reported stolen from a storage facility at 6N986 Elgin Ave. in St. Charles Township on Thursday. The owner of the ring told police an official from the Giants called him to report his ring listed on eBay. The ring was sold Thursday for $1,115. The man told police he didn't know when the ring was stolen but it might have been when he moved here from Texas in February.

•A bullet hole was discovered in a 1998 GMC dump truck parked on the 40W200 block of Fabyan Parkway in Blackberry Township at 2:48 p.m. Tuesday.

•James Oury, 20, of 16N503 Powers Road in Rutland Township, was charged with possession of cannabis plants and possession of drug paraphernalia and Andrew Godwin, 19, of 206 Tollview Terrace, Gilberts, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis after Oury's father called the police to his home at 8 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report. Police found 11 cannabis plants, 12.5 grams of cannabis, pipes and scales.
