Harvard EDC site wins national award

HARVARD -- The Harvard Economic Development Corp.'s (HEDC) web site was recognized by Ecodevdirectory.com, an international consulting group, for its exceptional utility. The website, www.harvardedc.com, is certified to contain development information organized for the requirements of site selection consultants, real estate departments and business people. There are more than 900 registered users in the Harvard web site database, which offers access to economic and demographic data, information on available land and sites, and a map of planned residential development.

Company purchase industrial building

HARVARD -- All World Machinery Inc. recently purchased a 7,200-square-foot industrial building that previously served as the Harvard Economic Development Corp.'s business incubator facility. All World Machinery was an early tenant in the incubator, leasing 3,600 square feet of space while it studied its further expansion options. The bid for the facility was submitted this spring and the closing took place at the end of July.
