•A $300 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for several graffiti incidents in the past two weeks on businesses in the Randall Square shopping center. Call (630) 232-4736 and ask for the investigations division.
•Robert G. Foster, 61, 240 N. Cambridge Drive, turned himself in at 3:39 p.m. Monday at the Geneva Police station, 20 Police Plaza, and was charged with felony forgery and felony unlawful possession of a prescription form following an incident June 30 at Walgreens, 2100 W. State St., in which he tried to get a prescription filled.
•A compact disc player and 40 CDs value at about $660 were stolen between 7 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Tuesday from an unlocked car parked in the 700 block of Commons Drive, according to police reports.
Kane County
•A resident of the 300 block of Brookhaven Trail in Pingree Grove called police after hearing a noise in his house that resembled footsteps and finding his front door ajar and rear sliding door open at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
•A resident of the 4S300 block of Harter Road in Sugar Grove Township woke up July 25 to find three bullet holes in her bedroom wall. A .22-caliber bullet casing was discovered at the scene. The woman did not know when the shots were fired.
•Five one-foot tall cannabis plants were discovered growing in a cornfield at 48W616 Hartner Road in Maple Park at 3:24 p.m. Monday.
•A street sign valued at $300 was reported stolen from Arbor Creek Road just south of Baert Lane in Campton Township at 8 a.m. Monday.
North Aurora
•Robert P. Doyle, 42, of 117 Gorham Court, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of an order of protection after an incident at 7:57 p.m. Friday on the 100 block of Gorham Court,
according to a police report.
St. Charles
•Three paintings were stolen from the Amli Clubhouse, 100 Lakeside Drive, between 10 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday. A 3-by-4-foot painting of a horse valued at $200 and two other paintings valued at $250 were taken.
•A concrete urn valued at $80 was stolen from the driveway at Swaby's, 1150 N. 5th Ave., between 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Monday.
