Austin Vale begins hiring campaign

NAPERVILLE -- Austin Vale LLC, a privately held, information technology (I.T.) recruiting firm, Wednesday said it is adding 12 additional recruiters by 2008 to keep up with demand for information technology candidates in the Chicago area. Established just under a year ago, Austin Vale provides classroom and personalized ongoing training to every new recruiter. Its clients range from multi-national conglomerates to start-up ventures.

Arthur J. Gallagher buys Indiana firm

ITASCA -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Wednesday reported the acquisition of Strategic Health Plans Corp. of Carmel, Indiana. Established in 1995, Strategic Health Plans offers a range of employee benefit consultation and brokerage services to their clients in the Midwest. The company will continue to operate at their current location under the direction of William Ziebell, executive vice president of Gallagher Benefit Services Inc., a subsidiary of international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
