•A landscaping brick was thrown through the window of a vehicle parked on the 400 block of Meadowrue Lane between midnight and 8 a.m. on Sunday.
Geneva
•A 1999 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight in the 700 block of East State Street was scratched on all sides with a sharp object between 1 and 8:30 a.m. Monday, causing an estimated $1,500 damage, according to police reports.
•About $3,600 worth of instant, scratch-off Lottery tickets were stolen between 9 p.m. Sunday and 3:34 a.m. Monday after a paver brick was used to smash the front door at the Citgo war wash, 618 S. First St., reports said.
•A portable toilet in the 3500 block of Ridge Point Drive was set on fire and melted at about 6:25 p.m. July 24, causing $525 damage, reports said.
North Aurora
•Jamar P. Mosby, 17, of 1360 S. 4th St., Aurora, was charged with battery after an incident at Fox Tech and Trade School, 195 Poplar Place, at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, according to a police report.
St. Charles
•Ryan R. Pozen, 29, of 1637 Covington Court, was arrested at 6:21 p.m. Monday on warrants for failure to appear in court on battery and drunken driving charges, police said. He was released on a collective bond of $15,000 with an Aug. 15 court date.
Kane County
•Patrick McCollum, 20, of 5N641 Longview Drive, Campton Township, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer after an incident at 11:14 p.m. Sunday in Campton Township, according to a police report. Police attempted to stop McCollum at Goldenrod and Prairie Lakes drives but he led the officer on a chase that ended when McCollum jumped out of his car at 6N915 Corron Road. A foot chase ensued before the officer apprehended McCollum and found 23.5 grams of cannabis in his pocket. Discovered in McCollum's 1998 Chevrolet Blazer were 2 grams of cocaine, two glass pipes, a scale, an open case of beer and $113 cash, according to the report.
•A multi-tool was reported stolen from a 2002 Toyota Tundra and a cell phone case was reported stolen from a 2007 Honda Accord parked on the 40W700 block of Long Shadow Lane in Campton Township at 9:43 a.m. July 24. Both vehicles were unlocked.
•Seventeen pieces of equipment valued at $5,000 were reported stolen from four landscaping trailers parked at Tecza Environmental Group, 12N442 Switzer Road in Plato Township at 6:45 a.m. Monday. A bolt cutter was used to break into the locked trailers.
•Nine ceiling tiles at the Burlington Park District's pavilion, 12N475 Park St. in Burlington Township, were reported damaged at 11 a.m. Sunday.
•A cell phone valued at $200 was reported stolen from an unlocked 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe parked on 6N400 block of Brierwood Lane in Campton Township at 8 a.m. Thursday.
•Golf clubs and accessories valued at $2,100 were reported stolen from a residential garage on the 18N500 block of Carriage Way in Rutland Township at 11 a.m. Sunday. There were no signs of forced entry.
•An iPod valued at $600 was reported stolen from a 2006 Mercedes 500 Series parked on the 5N200 block of Grey Barn Road in St. Charles Township at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. There were no signs of forced entry.
•Juan Padron-Ochoa, 31, of 1423 N. 14th St., DeKalb, was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration after crashing into a utility pole at Burlington and Romke roads in Burlington Township at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. Padron-Ochoa was driving northwest on Burlington Road when he hit the pole and flipped over. He was treated and released from Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, where his blood alcohol content registered at 0.183 percent.
•Melissa McDonnell, 50, of 8N740 Kendall Road, Elgin, was ticketed for failing to report an accident, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage after driving into a cornfield on the 42W500 block of McDonald Road in Plato Township at 4:33 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. McDonnell reported the accident later that day, telling police she swerved to avoid a deer.
•A radar detector was reported stolen from a 2002 Jeep Liberty and stereo components and $9 in change were reported stolen from a 2007 Dodge Caliber parked on the 0N500 block of Weaver Circle in Geneva Township at 9 a.m. July 22. Both vehicles were unlocked.
•A mailbox post on the 9N600 block of Pueblo Peak Court in Plato Township was found knocked down at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Damage is estimated at $150.
