51: Number of food vendors at the Lake County Fair. The Lake County Health Department reported conducting 84 inspections (some food vendors in specific categories were inspected twice). No shut downs were reported.

97: Number of pigs in the 4-H program this year. This is considered one of the largest turnouts ever, although no one can figure out why. Better bacon, perhaps? For the record, nearly 400 youths are involved in Lake County's 23 4H clubs.

1,265: The number of new fair sensation Crispy Wraps that have sold through Friday afternoon at the fair. The wraps are egg rolls, but with an American twist on the inside.
