Village OKs expansion:

The Barrington village board of trustees gave approval Monday for the renovation and expansion of the Champion Dodge/Chrysler Jeep dealership at 495 W. Northwest Hwy. When work is finished, the dealership will consist of a 9,300-square-foot expansion that includes a new showroom and service reception area, along with a new monument sign to replace the current pole signs. The project also calls for the upgrading of the landscaping on the property. The village's plan commission unanimously approved the project in June.
