Batavia

A woman reported her $600 digital camera stolen from her bag between 2:25 and 4 p.m. Sunday at Chuck E. Cheese, 511 N. Randall Road.

Geneva

Four windows valued at $200 were broken out of Olon Industries Inc., 411 Union St. at about 3:20 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses saw a group of youths running away from the building, according to police reports.

A wooden fence gate was damaged between Friday and Saturday in the 800 block of Manchester Course.

A window was broken out of a 1994 Plymouth van and two packs of cigarettes stolen between Saturday and Sunday in the 400 block of East State St.

The front window of a home was broken at 5 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Jefferson Street.

A case of wine was taken from The Wine Seller, 227 S. Third St., between 10 a.m. July 6 and noon July 10.

A Motorola cell phone was taken between 1:30 p.m. Thursday and 5:38 p.m. Friday from an unlocked car in the 100 block of Caroline Court.

Cash totally $150 was taken from a wallet in a locker between 10:30 a.m. Thursday and 5:56 a.m. Friday at the Fox Valley Ice Arena, 1996 S. Kirk Road.

A window was broken from a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix between 1 p.m. Thursday and 4:18 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of North First St.

Kane County

Cash and items valued at $590 were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 33W100 block of Toni Street in St. Charles Township between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

A Batavia woman was taken to Delnor-Community Hospital after a one-car accident at Wenmouth Road and McKee Street in Geneva Township at 1 p.m. Thursday. Alyce V. Ostraszewski, 71, told police her car was going into the wrong lane and she overcorrected, hitting a utility pole.

A case with 40 CDs and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 41W700 block of Northway Drive in Blackberry Township between 7 and 10 p.m. July 16.

St. Charles

Brittany M. Herdman, 18, of 331 Heritage Woods Drive, West Chicago, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft after stealing a $38 shirt from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., police said.

A handicap parking tag was stolen Saturday afternoon from a vehicle on the Kane County fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road.

Graffiti was discovered Saturday on a fence on the 300 block of Ninth Court. The vandalism caused an estimated $25 in damage.

James N. Fildes, 25, of 840 Ryan Court, Batavia, was arrested at 12:39 a.m. Saturday and charged with two counts of drunken driving and improper lane usage after crashing into an apartment on the 1800 block of Howard St., police said. No injuries were reported.

Stephen R. Fischer Jr., 28, of 2004 Tall Oaks Drive, Unit 3B, Aurora, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. Saturday and charged with criminal property damage after punching out a window at Scotland Yard, 301 W. Main St., police said. The window was valued at $400 to $500.

Samantha Evans. 18, of 14N466 Oliver Drive, Elgin, and Kristin A. Chomenko, 18, of 40W534 Prairie Court, Hampshire, were arrested at 1:55 p.m. Friday and charged with retail theft each after stealing $200 in clothes from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., according to a police report.

A man on the 1600 block of S. 13th Ave. complained at 12:04 a.m. Friday that someone put firecrackers in his neighbor's mailbox.

A purse containing a $30 wallet, a credit card and $50 worth of gift cards was stolen at about 3:13 p.m. July 16 from a bench in Langum Park on 1101 S. 7th Ave.

Sugar Grove

Pamala K. Latoria, 31, of the 300 block of Mallard Lane, was charged with two counts of battery and one count of unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor after an incident at her house early Saturday morning. Several minors told police they were attending a party at Latoria's and she served them alcohol. A fight started and Latoria pushed one girl and choked another, according to police. Neither girl required medical treatment. Thomas Kumro, 18, of the 0 block of Hathaway Crescent, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
