Thinner Teed sponsors benefits

Local rock band Thinner Teed will hold a relief ride and benefit concert with all proceeds to go to Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund on Aug. 11. Tickets are $20.

The first stop of the ride will be for breakfast and music with Paul Allodi from 10 to 11 a.m. at Durty Nellie's, 180 N. Smith St., Palatine. The ride will head out from there, with music and raffles For $500, $300 and $200 prizes. The second stop will be at Lake Shore Harley Davidson, 14000 Rockland Road, Libertyville, for music by Sweetwater Meltdown. From there the ride will proceed to Jesse Oaks, 18490 W. Old Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake, for music with Felix Jones. The fourth stop will be at Dwight House Pub, 35366 N. U.S. Highway 12, Ingleside, with music by Tin Whisker. The last stop on the ride will be at Broken Oar Bar and Marine, 614 Rawson Bridge Road, Port Barrington, for four hours of music by Thinner Teed with special guest Sean Shiel.
