Give blood, enter raffle

Highland Park Ford Lincoln Mercury and LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, are sponsoring the Highland Park Ford Lincoln Mercury Blood Drive, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, at the dealership located at 1333 Park Ave. West, just east of Rte. 41 in Highland Park.

All presenting donors at the LifeSource donor coach set up at Highland Park Ford will be entered in a random drawing for a Broadway show. Donors can win one of eight weekly prizes or one of two grand prizes.

The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with completed and signed parental consent form obtainable in advance), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. Most medications are accepted. There is no upper age limit. To schedule an appointment, call (847) 803-7943. Walk-ins welcome.
