The DuPage Children's Museum, 301 N. Washington St., Naperville, is a not-for-profit organization. Programs are free with museum admission unless otherwise noted. Admission is $7.50 for visitors ages 1 to 59; $6.50 for ages 60 and older. Family memberships are $88 per year. ACM Adventurer memberships are $110 per year and include entry to more than 100 different children's museums in the United States. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. For details, call (630) 637-8000.

Puppet play:Å’Join in the puppet play "That's My Egg!" produced by DuPage Children's Museum at 5:30 and 6 p.m. Sunday in the Hamill Family Play Zoo at Brookfield Zoo.

Start in science:Å’Toddler scientist ages 2 and 3 measure and count in fun experiments on Wednesday. Two sessions are offered: 9:45 to 10:15 am. and 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. The cost is $12 for child and adult partner for members, $14 nonmembers. Advance payment required.

Live performance:Å’Banjo Buddies Land Trio Music perform from 10:30 a.m. to noon July 28. No reservations needed. Free with admission.

Start in art:Å’Young artists ages 2 and 3 discover the basics they'll need to create masterpieces later in this two-part class on Aug. 1 and 8. Two sessions are offered: 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $25 for a child and adult partner for members, $30 nonmembers. Prepayment required.

Wet 'n' messy: Preschoolers ages 2 and 3 create something amazing by pouring and mixing common ingredients on Fridays, Aug. 3, 10 and 17. Two sessions are offered on both days: 9:45 to 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. The cost is $35 for a child and adult partner for members, $40 nonmembers. Prepayment required.

Live performance:Å’Judy Bridges and Bridges Brass, Trumpet and Keyboard give a live performance from 10:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 11. Free with admission.

Hop 'n' bop: Hop to beat and bop your feet as you and your toddler experience rhythm, music and motion from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 11. The cost is $12 for child and adult partners for members, $14 nonmembers. Advance payment required.
