Since the Jan. 8, 1993, murders of seven persons at Brown's Chicken & Pasta in Palatine, there have been:

• 100 law-enforcement officers involved at various times

• 200 fingerprints collected from the scene

• 240 other items of evidence collected

• 1,000 investigated leads

• 1,600 hours of laboratory time analyzing evidence

• 3,000 hotline calls

• $45,780 in Palatine police overtime

• $83,740 in task-force supplies, services and equipment
