    The first Friday of every month is the First Friday gallery event at Lakeside Legacy Foundation in Crystal Lake, IL. The May 3rd event featured student artwork from the Crystal Lake D47 schools and students of Creative Artistry School of Fine Arts, and had record attendance of over 200 guests. Guests enjoyed art, free appetizers and participated in coloring, origami, and face painting. Music at the event was provided by teachers and student musicians from D47 school choirs and two groups from the McHenry County Youth Orchestra.
