    Brian Greene is continuing his legal fight with Prairie Crossing Charter School in Grayslake, where he was the focus of public meetings about a year ago before he was fired. The next hearing for his lawsuit against the school is set for Tuesday. “I remain confident that the truth in what occurred there will be revealed, and my name and credibility can be restored,” Greene said.

District 46's resolution mirrors a document created by neighboring Woodland Elementary District 50 in Gurnee. Woodland has solicited support from nearby districts because of cooncerns over the flow of its state money to Prairie Crossing Charter School in Grayslake.

  • Prairie Crossing students find body on camping trip May 19, 2012 12:29 AM
    Prairie Crossing Charter School seventh-graders returned home early from a spring camping trip to a Wisconsin state park after finding a woman's body at the bottom of a 100-foot overlook. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials are investigating the 56-year-old woman's death that occurred Thursday at Devil's Lake State Park near Baraboo.
