Itasca Library to Present "Chocolate USA!"
Sep 1, 2015 4:41 PM - A combination of chocolate information, history, tastings, and even chocolate-related travel will be included in "Chocolate USA!" from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Itasca Community Library, 500 Irving Park Rd. "Chocolate USA" will celebrate chocolate, American style, as author and presenter Susan Miura infuses a bit of history and travel into the colorful, fun and informative presentation. The slideshow will make virtual stops in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Hershey, Boston, and Chicago. Audience members will learn about the different types of chocolate and each city's chocolate claim to fame, as well as exciting activities and sites in each of these cocoa capitals. Audience members will receive chocolate samples and recipes, and have the chance to win prizes at program's end.
