COD to host free paralegal information session April 23

The College of DuPage will host a free information session on the Paralegal Studies program from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Monday, April 23, in the Berg Instructional Center, Room 1425, on the College's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Participants will learn about the College's American Bar Association-approved Paralegal Studies program as well as career opportunities available to paralegals. Working under the supervision of an attorney, paralegals help provide high-quality, cost-effective legal services to the public or private sector.

Paralegals are engaged in an increasingly wide range of tasks, including assisting lawyers in civil and criminal trials and hearings, real estate closings, investigations and corporate matters.
