Thor! The Wild Goat of West Dundee

It was just over a year ago, January 2017, when a friend tipped me off on the location of "Thor! The elusive goat" of West Dundee. I got some nice photos that afternoon.

If you've never heard the story, Thor is a wild or feral goat that runs with the deer herd here in suburban Chicago. It has now been around for a few years. He's not part of anyone's farm.

Anyway, my good friend did it again, calling me late Sunday. At almost dusk, I headed out to where she said I'd find him. He was there, bedded down with a small group of deer. I think these are the first shots of him laying down. There are very few photos of this goat and most of them are mine.

These photos are shot at a high ISO and a bit grainy. It was stone dark when I left. But you get the point.
